Well it's been a busy week. I purchased some beautiful fruit from the Niagara area and it needed to be processed. And I had been at Farmer's Market last Saturday where I purchased cucumbers, dill and raspberries, so since last weekend, it has been a frenzy of pickling, jam making and preserving. I don't have air conditioning, so this really has been a labour of love! And in the winter when we're tasting sweet flavours of summer, it will all be worth it!
I do have a little sneak peek for you, though... Something to tide you over until the first of the month...
This is just to whet your appetite until the reveal of the August sketch at My Sketch World.
This is the final layout for this term. The DT call will soon be posted for the next term. It's a terrific community of women who support each other in our scrapbooking and in life. I'm not being overly dramatic when I say that. We support each other when a member's child is being bullied or someone's job has gotten tough. And we pray for each other when someone's parents, or a member, is undergoing surgery, etc. It's an amazingly supportive place to be. Then there are tips & techniques, a place to toot your own horn if you've got good scrappy news to share, a fabulous gallery, monthly challenges from the DT and Lucy's terrific sketches. It's really an inspiring place to be part of and I encourage you to join me there. And consider submitting for the design team when the call goes up - she is especially seeking card submissions.
Have a super weekend! Woo hoo - it's a long one here in Ontario!
Blessings, Ann
