I have a second challenge posted at the Two Scrapbook Friends forum for our online Olympic Crop. If you aren't playing along yet, there's still time, and there are prizes, so I urge you to join in! Here's my 2nd challenge:
When you think of England, many things come to mind: the royal family, a nation of tea drinkers, Shakespeare, etc. Your challenge is to think of something classically English and translate that onto your layout, card or project. I've started working on a mini album commemorating a retirement party held for my Dad. I applied my challenge to this page. One of the iconic landmarks is the tower housing Big Ben (For all you trivia fans, Big Ben is actually the bell inside, not the clock, but for my purposes, the clock is my inspiration):
I represented the famous clock tower by incorporating clock/watch faces on this gear-shaped page (there's lots of gears inside a clock, right?) for the mini album:
Graphic 45 papers worked perfectly with the gear shaped page and Echo Park accents added to the clockworks or watchworks theme.
Why don't you join us - there are lots of other challenges and games!
