Yes, it's the 2nd and the reveal is the 1st, but I had 2 other projects to show you on the 1st, so I held this one back a day.
Here's the sketch Lucy gave us to work with:
Kind of fun with the large pennants, and multiple photos, right?
Here's what I made:
I flipped the sketch 180 degrees, and the pennants became waves.
The waves were made by cutting them with my Silhouette and once cut, I painted them with watercolours, trying for the ombre effect again.
The title work and journaling section - the alphas are a combo of Kaisercraft, Bella Blvd, Little Yellow Bicycle, and AC DIY Thickers to which I added microbeads for colour and texture.
Speaking of texture, I love how these opposing corners came out. I spread a layer of modeling paste over a template, removed template, and let the paste dry. I love how it looks like bubbles and how much dimension there is!
