Sketches, sketches oh I love sketches. Well let me tell you how excited I am to tell you that today we are here to show off the March sketch.

I've been scrapping off and on since 2004, and have really taken my interest into a passion in the last 2 or so years. In last half year or so, I have had a ton of fun experimenting with different products and incorporating mixed media techniques onto my layouts.
Here is the layout sketch:

I got out a few TCW templates and a few different media, plus some older Bella Blvd papers (believe it or not, those are from a little boy line!) and played!
I used the song title "When I Grow Up I Wanna Be Famous" as my title, so I used stars as the main component for embellishing from star patterned paper and punchinella, to using templates to draw and cut out stars. The various media I used include gesso, modeling paste, watercolour markers, gelatos, mist, perfect pearls.
I buried some wooden hexagons in modeling paste for texture and once the medium was semi-dry, I stamped in it, creating a great textured imprint.
